Openers give Pakistan solid start after England amass 657

Pakistan's openers reach their first innings of 181-0 on the second day of the opening Test against England. England's bowlers had to work hard to get wickets. The match has become a batting contest with more than 800 runs scored across the two days. Harry Brook added 151 runs to his overnight score of 101 to 153. England are 506-4 in their innings. Zak Crawley, Ollie Pope, Ben Duckett and Zak are the other scorers. They are playing the first five-day Test in 17 years. Pakistan's first wicket fell on a review.

England made 657-6 in their first innings. Z Crawley, Duckett, Pope, Stokes, Livingstone, Brook, Jacks, Robinson, Anderson and Leach scored runs.
