Paulino: “There is more talent in Liga MX than in Spain’s second tier”

Paulino de la Fuente was one of the most promising players of his generation. He left Cantabria, Santander, to sign for Inter at the age of 15. Then he returned to Spain and played for Atlético, Alavés, Málaga and Logroñés.

The first three months of playing at 2,000 meters altitude were hell for him. Now he's almost 100%.

Paulino moved to Mexico for Pachuca. He doesn't regret it. He believes there is more talent in Mexico than in Spain's second tier.

The club wanted to sign him immediately. He was barely able to tell anyone because of the insistence of his club.
