The Pelicans and the Jazz will square off for the second-straight game on Monday night at the Delta Center. New Orleans is a 5.5-point favorite over Utah despite the Jazz winning their first matchup 105-100 on Saturday night. 

New Orleans will have Zion Williamson back in the starting lineup for tonight’s game after he did not play on Saturday night. Meanwhile, Utah hopes to have Lauri Markkanen back on the floor tonight, who has a hamstring strain.

Can the Jazz complete the two-game sweep tonight? Or will the Pelicans get their revenge as they try to move up the Western Conference standings?

Brandon Ingram: Ingram led the Pelicans with 26 points (10-22 FG, 1-4 3pt) in Saturday night’s five-point loss to the Jazz. The veteran small forward also dished out eight assists and grabbed six rebounds. Ingram leads the team in scoring (24.6 points per game) and will hopefully have another good performance tonight as he tries to get Pels back into the win column.

Keyonte George: The rookie guard got off to a slow start this month, averaging 7.0 points and 5.7 assists in 24.7 minutes per game. However, since Nov. 14, George has been looking like the player we saw in the summer league. The former Baylor standout has scored in double figures in four out of his last six games. He’s also averaging 6.3 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game over that span.

The Jazz won on Saturday night, thanks to a gutsy fourth-quarter performance as they outscored the Pelicans by 14 points. The Pelicans hope that will not happen tonight, with Williamson likely to play tonight.

New Orleans is 1-3 without Williamson this season, but they are 8-5 with him. Williamson is recording 23.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game. If the Pelicans have Ingram and Williamson against a Jazz team missing Markkanen, I like their chances to split the two-game set tonight.

The Jazz are 4-2 against the spread as a home underdog but only 2-2 ATS after a win this season. The Pelicans are 3-3-1 ATS on the road and 2-3 ATS as a favorite this season.
