Peru will host Argentina on Tuesday night to wrap up the current round of CONMEBOL 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
It’s expected to be a strong opportunity for Argentina to add to their three-game winning streak to begin South American qualification. That start has FIFA’s No. 1 ranked team on top of the CONMEBOL table with nine points.
The reigning World Cup champions have wins over Ecuador, Bolivia and most recently a tight 1-0 affair against Paraguay.
It will be a tall task for Peru against a side featuring the likes of Livepool’s Alexis Mac Allister, Chelsea’s Enzo Fernández, and the rest of Argentina’s star-studded lineup… which could include a start from Inter Miami and worldwide superstar Lionel Messi.
