PGA Tour Championship 2022 format & FedEx Cup standings
The Tour Championship is the final event of the FedEx Cup play-offs. It is held at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta. The event has a unique format with a far reduced field of players compared to what fans of major tournaments would normally be used to seeing.
The Tour Championship takes place from Thursday, August 25 to Sunday, Aug 28 at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. The 2021/22 PGA Tour began in September 2021 with the Fortinet Championship in California and has made its way across North America and Europe to reach its conclusion this month.
The FedEx Cup points leader after the first two playoffs events will start the Tour Championship at 10-under par. The No. 2 player will begin at 8-over par, the No 3 player starts at 7- under, No 4 player at 6-6, 5-5 at 5 under and players 6 to 10 start at 4-4, 11-15 at 3-3, 16-20 at 2-2, 21-25 at 1-1, 26-30 at even par and the winner at the end of play.
Scottie Scheffler is the tour leader and is 9/4 favourite. Patrick Cantlay is 4/1, Xander Schauffele is 15/2 and Jon Rahm is 16/20. Rory McIlroy is 10/10 and Will Zalatoris is Will.
