Catena Media provides exclusive sports betting content to AL.com, including picks, analysis, tools and sportsbook offers to help bettors get in on the action. Please wager responsibly.

The second round of the PGA Tour’s BMW Championship at Chicago’s Olympia Fields tees off Friday morning and you can sink an ace of a bonus with a $1,000 no-sweat first bet courtesy of our special FanDuel promo code.

We’re getting deeper into the FedEx Cup Playoffs as the BMW Championship enters day two. The field already has only 50 players, and just 30 will qualify for the Tour Championship.

With FanDuel, you don’t have to sink a hole in one as the sportsbook’s welcome offer provides a first-bet refund of up to $1,000.

To claim the bonus, follow these steps:

  • Click our FanDuel promo code link and hit “Join Now.”
  • Deposit $10 or more into your account through an approved method.
  • Bet at least $10 on the qualifying market of your choice. If your wager doesn’t win, collect up to $1,000 in bonus bets.

With this offer, FanDuel lets you be aggressive with your play because if it loses, you’ll get the opportunity to try again with bonus credits.

Bonus bets drop into your account within 72 hours after your first wager settles and are valid for seven days.

Please note that this offer isn’t available in Arizona, Colorado, Tennessee, or Illinois. Click one of our FanDuel promo code links for full terms and conditions.

The BMW Championship is the second of the three FedEx Cup playoff tournaments. A no-cut event, with only the Top 30 advancing to the Tour Championship next week in Atlanta, the winner at Olympia Fields North Course will claim $3.6 million in prize money as well as 2,000 FedEx points.

Lucas Glover entered Round 1 on Thursday having won back-to-back events, successes which saw him shoot from 112 in the FedEx Cup standings all the way to No. 4 less than a month after he missed the cut at the 3M Open in July. No player since Dustin Johnson in 2017 has won three PGA Tour tournaments in a row.

Ahead of Round 1, Glover was a longshot at +5500 to win, while the favorites were many of the usual suspects, including Rory McIlroy (+650), Scottie Scheffler (+700), and Jon Rahm (+900).

Meanwhile, Patrick Cantlay (+1100), ranked fifth in the FedEx Cup standings, is defending his BMW Championship title the week after he finished second at the St. Jude Championship.

The last time the event was held at Olympia Field, back in 2020, Rahm came out on top, besting Johnson in a playoff.

As well as moneyline outrights, FanDuel has markets open on the leader after each round, player finishes in the Top 5 or Top 10, and over/under bets on individual player scores in the second round.

After taking advantage of your no-sweat first bet, FanDuel keeps players coming back for more with fantastic ongoing promotions such as:

  • Odds boost: Increase the potential payout on your next wager.
  • Live golf markets: Track players’ birdies and bogeys during rounds and bet on the action after a round has started.
  • MLB profit boost: Apply a 25 percent boost to an upcoming MLB bet.
  • Referral bonus: Invite friends to sign up for FanDuel, and for each one who does so via your referral link, you’ll both receive $50 in bonus bets.
  • Reload bonus: FanDuel offers regular deposit matches and bonus bets for returning players.
