Pistons F Marvin Bagley III to miss time to start 2022-23 season

Marvin Bagley III will miss 3-4 weeks with a sprained MCL and a minor bone bruise. He sustained the injury in the Pistons' 115-99 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday. The team is undergoing a rebuild and bettors are not expecting Detroit to make the playoffs this season.

Pistons forward Marvin Bagley III will miss 3-4 weeks to start the 2022-23 season. He scored 27 points in 35 minutes on March 27, 2022, in the Pistons' 104-102 loss against the New York Knicks. Bagly III signed a three-year, $37.5 million contract with the team in July.
