Pistons vs Knicks, Pelicans vs Bulls & More
The NBA preseason kicks off on Tuesday, October 4th. Detroit Pistons will play New York Knicks at MSG. Minnesota Timberwolves will take on Jimmy Butler and Miami Heat in South Beach. New Orleans Pelicans take against Chicago Bulls. Utah Jazz take part in Northwest Division game against Portland Trail Blazers.
The biggest spread on the board tonight is Miami -5 at home against Minnesota, while the smallest is Chicago -1.5 against New Orleans.
The Pistons and Knicks are playing in the preseason opener on Tuesday. Detroit had a productive summer, adding Jaden Ivey, Jalen Duren, Bojan Bogdanovic and Donovan Mitchell. New York signed Jalon Brunson and signed Julius Randle and RJ Barrett. The Knicks have won eight straight games against the Pistons. New Yorkers cover the four-point spread in all but two of the previous meetings.
The Pelicans are looking to improve on last season's performance. The Bulls made the playoffs last year thanks to DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine. Lonzo Ball is still out for the Lakers. The Pelicans have a lot of young talent. They could beat the Bulls if all their stars were playing. However, they are missing CJ McCollum and Brandon Ingram.
