Portland Trail Blazers vs. Atlanta Hawks: Game preview, prediction, time, TV channel, how to watch free live stream online

The Portland Trail Blazers will close their six-game home stand with back-to-back games against the Atlanta Hawks and New York Knicks starting with the Hawks on Wednesday night.

Picking up a second win during this stretch will likely rely on defeating the Hawks, who will be playing without guard Trae Young (finger ligament). However, Atlanta is 5-3 since he went out and that includes two impressive victories over the Knicks (38-27) and the Cleveland Cavaliers (41-24).

Atlanta’s key trio of Dejounte Murray, Clint Capela and Bogdan Bogdanovic present plenty of problems even without the services of Young. However, forward Jalen Johnson (ankle) is doubtful.

The Hawks will enter the game in 10th place in the Eastern Conference. They hold a 3 1/2-game lead over the Brooklyn Nets (29-35) for the final play-in spot.

Prediction: The Blazers, shoud Jerami Grant (questionable) play, really have no excuse not to win this game if Johnson does not suit up.
