Elena Rybakina won the tournament at Wimbledon. The 23-year-old had won just two of 61 events and had a 2-6 win-loss record in finals. She had yet to claim a WTA 1000 title. Before Wimden, Ry bakin was 17-11 in Grand Slam matches and 11-8 on grass. Bookmakers had her as a 100-1 outsider before the event.

Rybakina won Wimbledon at the second round for the first time in her career. She is the world No. 23 and the only woman ranked lower than her to have won the event. Rybaksa has a winning record against players ranked No 1. She has also won over Major winners, including Serena Williams, Garbine Muguruza, Sofia Kenin and Simona Halep.

Rybakina is a right-handed player who plays with a powerful serve and flat groundstrokes. She is tall and fast and has a lot of power. Ryb Bakina has twice led the tour in aces and was fifth in the last three seasons.

Rybakina won the Grand Slam title. He believes in himself more this time.   He had good matches, great battles and close matches the last three years.

Rybakina delivered 53 aces in Wimbledon 2022 - the highest. She had to overcome mental challenges of breaking through on the biggest stage.

Rybakina won a tennis tournament for Kazakhstan. She switched to tennis at 19. Her parents live in Moscow. Ryb Bakina lives on the tour. She was a step away from winning Olympic bronze in Tokyo. The Kazakhstan Tennis Federation offered her to represent it in exchange for the cash needed to support the global lifestyle of a player. It's a long-term plan for tennis in Kazakhstan and Ry bakin is the first singles Major winner. Russia has often recruited talented tennis players from Russia. Russian Tennis federation president Shamil Tarpishchev said it's the Russian school after all.

Rybakina won Wimbledon. Her coach Stefano Vukov believes she has the potential to keep on winning. She is coming to the US Open more confident. Rybackina doesn't like being a tennis celebrity. She wants to be in the top 10 and win another Grand Slam. The US open is her first Grand slam. It's the first time she's been a professional tennis player. For her, it's difficult to adjust to being the celebrity player in a sport she doesn’t like.
