Preakness Stakes draw: Epicenter favorite from No. 8 post

Epicenter was the first name drawn and assigned the No. 8 post in the nine-horse field for Saturday's Preakness Stakes. Un Ojo pulled out of the race with a foot bruise. Only three horses from the Kentucky Derby are going in this year's race. Secret Oath is the third favorite at 9-2. The race is second in Triple Crown. The track opened in 1870 and the band started under its current name in 1969. It has undergone many renovations. Female horses have won the Preaks six times. Swiss Skydiver won two years ago. She is a filly for 86-year-old trainer D. Wayne Lukas.

Epicenter is the favorite from No. 8 post. Kenny McPeek and Brian Hernandez Jr. are second and third.
