Premier League predictions: Mark Lawrenson's big midweek calls

Brighton lost at Liverpool but have since won twice. Forest missed a penalty last weekend and they lost to Manchester United.

Palace are happy with their 0-0 draw away to Brighton. Wolves are buoyed after their win at the weekend.

Mark Lawrenson predicts Crystal Palace will beat Wolves 2-1. Southampton will take all the points against Bournemouth.

Chelsea are on a roll. Graham Potter is happy to rotate his players. Brentford beat Brighton last time out. Chelsea beat Brentfords 1-2.

Mark Lawrenson predicts Liverpool will beat West Ham. Newcastle beat Everton 2-0.

Man Utd are still looking for their rhythm under Erik ten Hag. Spurs are a tough side to beat. Newcastle will beat Everton.

Villa create very little and Steven Gerrard needs to find a way of playing his two frontmen and letting them go and cause havoc. Fulham are playing well and Aleksandar Mitrovic is such a handful.

Mark Lawrenson predicts Fulham to beat Villa 3-0. Leicester drew with Palace but are not good enough to go down. Leeds will be disappointed not to have taken any points off Arsenal.

Leicester lost to Leeds. The winner will be awarded three points per correct score.

Lawro has just three points going into Thursday's final two matches. Pete has three, after correctly predicting three results but getting no correct scores. Lawro didn't get any points on Thursday after Fulham and Leicester’s victories. But Pete got one point for correctly calling a Fulam win.
