Premier League Sponsorship: PL Betting Sponsorships: Beginning with the 2026–27 season, Premier League clubs have voluntarily decided to stop sponsoring gambling on the front of  shirts. The eight teams are Bournemouth, Brentford, Everton, Fulham, Leeds, Newcastle, Southampton, and West Ham. “Premier League clubs have today collectively agreed to withdraw gambling sponsorship from the front of clubs’ matchday shirts, becoming the first sports league in the UK to take such a measure voluntarily in order to reduce gambling advertising.” the statement read.

Clubs in the Premier League declared on Thursday that they would no longer accept bookmakers as their primary jersey sponsors. Sponsorships will be permitted to continue until the end of the 2025–26 season  Campaigners have praised the decision, but it is likely to increase attention on other sports sponsorships that involve gambling.
