Previewing the Nashville Predators’ 2021-22 season

The Nashville Predators are one of the most interesting teams in the NHL. They are in a transition towards a younger, cheaper roster. Filip Forsberg and Mattias Ekholm will be free agents at the end of this season. Juuse Saros will start in goal for the Predators. The rise of Nashville's youth will also be a story to track this year. The team will open the regular season on Thursday, October 14th against the Seattle Kraken. Pekka Rinne has moved on to greener pastures. He will give way to Juused Saro in net. Ryan Ellis left the team for a new team.

Juuse Saros is a Vezina Trophy finalist. The Nashville Predators will make the postseason. They have enough talent to get to the playoffs. They also have two of the league's best defenders in Ekholm and Josi. If they find enough scoring, they will be able to win games.
