Promising fillies eyeing spring carnival glory

Trainer Annabel Neasham has her sights set on the prestigious Melbourne Spring Carnival with two exciting fillies in her stable.

Leading the charge is the talented Kristilli, who dazzled the racing world by claiming the Group 2 Percy Sykes Stakes at Randwick in only her second race appearance.

Neasham expressed her anticipation to witness Kristilli’s growth, hinting at possible entries in either the Thousand Guineas at Caulfield or the Coolmore Stud Stakes down the straight at Flemington.

In addition to Kristilli, Neasham is equally enthusiastic about Sunshine In Paris, who impressed by securing victory in the illustrious G1 Surround Stakes.

Despite being lightly raced, Sunshine In Paris showcased immense potential, and Neasham is eager to map out her path through the Spring Carnival, with the Sheraco Stakes as a probable starting point.

Unfortunately, Learning To Fly won’t be gracing the Spring Carnival due to an injury sustained during the Golden Slipper.

However, Neasham remains optimistic about her return for the autumn, targeting a race like the G1 Surround Stakes next year.

With such promising fillies in her ranks, Neasham’s ambitions for success at the Melbourne Spring Carnival appear well-founded.
