Racing fixture list for 2023 unveiled with minimum race values increased

Prize-money for Group One races on the Flat will be raised by £50,000. The current appearance money scheme has been scrapped. There has also been a £25,00 raise in Grade One novice chases and £35,500 raise for novice hurdle races. A total of 1,478 meetings are planned for the 2023 calendar. St Leger Festival at Doncaster will start on a Thursday and finish on Sunday. Christmas break will take place on December 23.  The potential Racing League fixtures for 20th century will not feature on this year's calendar at the moment.
