This weekend Wigan host Leeds in a repeat of the inaugural Grand Final back in 1998. St Helens take on the fairytale chasing Salford in the 2019 Grand final.

The five best Super League semi-finals are ranked. The list is based on normal semi finals rather than preliminary and qualifying finals.

Castleford Tigers beat St Helens 23-22 in a dramatic play-off semi-final. Luke Gale earned legendary status with a decisive drop goal. Leeds Rhinos beat Wigan Warriors in another dramatic semi. The game is ranked in the top five Super League semi finals.

The game between Leeds Rhinos and Warrington Wolves in 2011 is considered the greatest in Super League history. The game was won by Sinfield who kicked a penalty to win the game.
