Rassie Erasmus' wild celebrations after win over France

There is no doubt that emotions will still be overflowing for the Springboks and director of rugby Rassie Erasmus following Sunday’s stunning win over France.

However, focus will quickly shift to the next challenge as the Springboks wmove hotels in Paris on Monday, and will have the day off to rest and recover before returning to training on Tuesday for the World Cup semi-final.

The Springboks will face the English this Saturday, 21 October, in a match that kicks off at 21:00. Meanwhile, on Friday night, the first semi-final will be between the All Blacks and Argentina.

Many expected France to get the better of the Springboks in the final quarter-final, but the South Africans once again found a way to defy the odds.

After the game, there were also incredible scenes in the coaches’ box as Rassie Erasmus and various other Bok team members celebrated wildly.

Meanwhile, after the match, Erasmus also took to Twitter to thank South Africa for their support.

“Enkosi kakhulu for all the support kuni our South African Supporters. Baie dankie. Ons kom julle die heeltyd voel !! Thanks. Lekka”
