Real Madrid identify 2022 FIFA World Cup star as Thibaut Courtois' understudy: Reports

Yassine Bounou is a candidate to replace Thibaut Courtois at Real Madrid. Boungou played for Morocco at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Sevilla goalkeeper Andriy Lunin is on his way out. Los Blancos are interested in signing Lun in a deal worth at least €30 million.  Bounu won the La Liga Zamora Trophy last season and was named in the UEFA Europa League Squad of the Season and La League Team of The Season.

Bounou played with his son on the field after Morocco's quarterfinal win.

Real Madrid are interested in signing Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez. Los Blancos are looking for a midfield addition. Toni Kroos and Luka Modric are nearing the end of their careers. Fernandez has been a livewire for Argentina in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Julian Alvarez and Enzo Fernandez are being considered for Thibaut Courtois' understudy.
