Thunder Moon (Newmarket, 3.40) is the favourite in Saturday's Qipco 2,000 Guineas. Joseph O'Brien has won two Melbourne Cups, Breeders' Cup success and an Irish Derby. Pretty Gorgeous has been injured in the QIPco 1,00, but Thunder Moon has outstanding credentials. Santa Barbara (Aidan O’Brien-trained) has only one race to her name. She is a short price for a maiden winner. Mother Earth (3. 40) may be a better bet against.
