Joey's Chance has also proven to be an inspired purchase. Northem has a full brother to Very Sharpe and a seven times winner of more than $320,000. Darleb was exported to The Philippines in January 2022. He is now taking up stud duties for prominent local owner/breeder, Putch Puyat.
Rockbarton Road is a filly trained by Joe Cleary. She is the daughter of Prix Jean Prat winning miler Territories. Cleare is optimistic about his fillie's chances in Tuesday's opener at Queanbeyan. Big Baz is training for his final preparation. Rod Northam is looking for another Gosford double. He will race between now and Christmas and then go to either Townsville or Mount Isa. He is also hoping to win the Greenway Turf Country Boosted Maiden Plate (1460m) at Gosfords.
