RTE pundit Stephanie Roche becomes eighth star to join Dancing With the Stars

Stephanie Roche is the latest celeb to be revealed for Dancing With The Stars. The forward has been capped 58 times for her country and she has only danced at family weddings to Maniac 2000. Stephanie joined Dublin team Peamount United in 2011 and was instrumental in the club winning the Women's National League that year. She came in second place for the 2014 FIFA Ballon d'Or. Brian Redmond could be challenged on the new show by drag queen Panti Bliss. He has ditched his trademark glasses after undergoing recent eye surgery. Stephanie is one of Ireland's best known female footballers. She made her international debut in 2009 and has scored 14 goals in 58 appearances. Stephanie was the only woman to be voted a finalist for the FIFA Puskas Award for best goal of the year in 2013. In 2017, she was one the players who spoke out about the inadequate conditions that the women’s international squad faced.
