Rugby League World Cup: Samoa shock England to reach final

Samoa beat England 27-26 in the Rugby League World Cup semifinal at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium. Stephen Crichton kicked a 40-metre drop goal in extra time to win the match. It was Samoa's first World cup semifina and it will play Australia in a final. England lost 60-6 to Samoa in their opening match in Newcastle. The game lacked the quality of the first semifiner between Australia and New Zealand on Saturday. Samoa played the more attractive rugby. They were the underdog.
