  • Fans can live the dream for another week

Scotland have been well supported in the 2023 Rugby World Cup and their fans will party long into the night.

Thoughts of Ireland will be put aside until next weekend while they enjoy the moment.

It is what the tournament is all about, enjoying wins like these, not worrying about the next game until the day of the showdown.

  • Task could not be bigger for Scots

Putting the points needed to one side, the reality is that just beating Ireland at all is probably the biggest task in world rugby right now.

Andy Farrell's side have not put a foot wrong in this tournament and even beat the defending world champions in the process.

It will be a monumental game to finish the group phase, if Scotland can do the unthinkable, they deserve their place in the quarter-finals.

  • Golden Graham tears apart Romanians

Darcy Graham scored four tries this evening and was the standout player for Scotland.

He is still not guaranteed a starting place for next week but if Scotland want to take the game to Ireland, they need some players with that x-factor.

Graham could not have done more to put himself in the reckoning for the starting fifteen, that is for sure.
