Running of the Roses back at Carlos Creek Winery for the 148th Kentucky Derby
The 9th annual Theatre Le Homme Dieu Running of the Roses Kentucky Derby watching event took place at Carlos Creek Winery in Alexandria on Saturday, May 7. About 130 people came to the event, each paying $20 to attend the watching of a horse race. The winner of this year's race was Rich Strike, a last-minute addition from the list. Two horses in the race have Minnesota connections. The event was organized by THLD staff and volunteers.
