Ryan Preece is the newly appointed full-time Cup driver in Stewart-Haas Racing for the 2023 season. Preesce lost his full time ride with JTG Daugherty Racing after three disappointing seasons. He will drive the #41 Ford for Stewart Haas Racing.

"I was willing to sit there until there was absolutely no hope and possibly be jobless, possibly not have a ride, but I was prepared to take that risk. Ultimately, it's worked out and this opportunity has come."

Ryan Preece has been appointed as the fourth driver of the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season. Stewart-Haas Racing co-owner Tony Stewart is betting on the 32-year-old driver.

Ryan Preece has made a few appearances in Whelen Modified and a couple of starts in NASCAR's all three series: Cup Series, Xfinity Series and Truck Series. The new season starts next year at Daytona International Speedway.

Ryan won the Mod Tour championship. He will race in the Cup series.  "We're proud to have him and look forward to seeing what he can do in our race cars"
