Sand Wave seals shared premiership
Sand Wave wins the race at Gore. Nathan Williamson and Brett Gray share the Southland Trainers Premiership. They are both on thirty-five wins. Cool Phelan won the Jaccka Lodge Trot. Williamson won with Sand Wave. The last race was a draw. Neither trainer had a runner in the last one. They share title.
Sand Wave has won six races this season. Williamson has now won the Premiership for six seasons. Gray has his name on the Trainers Premiership three times; 2017, 2018 and 2022. Ohoka Connar was sold out of Brett Gray's stable to Stonewall Stud.
