Saturday Plays: Justify sibling playable in Belmont double

Justify's half-brother Stage Raider is going to race in a Saturday double connecting a Belmont optional claimer with the Grade 3, $100,000 Soaring Softly Stakes.

Stage Raider has lost two straight optional claimers off a long layoff. The Chad Brown-trained 4-year-old colt is the choice for Belmont Race 8. Stage Raider will face his stablemate Highly Motivated. The exacta for the race is 9/8. Soaring Softly is also a good bet. It's a double with Soarsling Softley.

Haughty finished third in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. Flavien Prat will ride her in Soaring Softly Stakes (G3) at Belmont. Derrynane and Chardy Pardy are 7/2 and 9/1 on the morning line.  Derryne has five starts at 5 1/ 2 furlongs or less. Chardy Pardys has only two starts.
