Saudi Takeover of Slask Wroclaw in the Works?

The deal to buy Wroclaw's football club from Prince Mohammed bin Salman is close to being finalized. The deal would see the club playing in the Champions League. Wrclaw’s mayor Jacek Sutryk and the management of the team are only now being privy to the negotiations. The negotiations were kept secret until now. Adam Pietrowsk, a Polish football agent, helped to start talks with Slask over its potential sale to LEC and PIF. He helped close the sale of Wisla Krakow in 2018. However, the conditional sale was cancelled due to Vanna Ly's failure to wire a money transfer.

The deal between Wroclaw and PIF for the sale of Slask has been called off. The mayor was not satisfied with the Pif's involvement in the negotiations. P IF is now bidding for Lechia Gdansk. The final decision regarding the LeChia sale should be announced in coming weeks. Le chia could be sold to the Saudis for 25-30 million euro. It is hoped that Piffle will land one of the Polish topflight clubs.
