The Blue Jackets signed Johnny Gaudreau on July 13. The club has sold twice as many season tickets since then. Online merchandise sales have increased by 22%. In-store merch sales are up 150%. The team ranked first in the NHL in total impressions (13.6 million) and engagements (884,000) from July to July 27. Gudreau will be front and center in marketing efforts in lead-up to the 2022-23 season. He will also be seen on street signs and in an advertising campaign at John Glenn Columbus Int'l Airport.
