My picks for Wednesday’s SEC action

I’m making 5 picks for tonight’s games, so let’s dive right in. Starting with Georgia-Tennessee, I’m taking the “lower” option for star Georgia guard Terry Roberts’ 14.5 points total. Tennessee has the No. 1 defense in the country, per the KenPom rankings, so Roberts could have trouble finding open shots.

Moving on to the South Carolina-Florida game, I’m taking the “higher” option for South Carolina forward GG Jackson’s 22.5 points+rebounds+assists total. He’s hit that total in his past 2 games despite the Gamecocks losing by a combined 27 points. He’s the only real offensive threat the Gamecocks have on some nights.

In Alabama’s first game against Mississippi State, freshman star Brandon Miller scored 19 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out 3 assists for the Crimson Tide. His over/under on points+rebounds+assists for Wednesday night against the Bulldogs is set at 28.5. I like Miller to go “higher” than 28.5 points+rebounds+assists.

I’m making 2 picks for the Texas A&M-Auburn game. I think this is going to be a guard-heavy game, featuring Wade Taylor IV of the Aggies and Wendell Green Jr. of the Tigers. I think Taylor will go “higher” than 20.5 points+rebounds+assists and Green will eclipse his points+rebounds+assists total of 21.5. Green has gone over that total in 4 of his last 5 games.

How many picks should you make?

The more picks you string together, the higher the “multiplier” or payout. Of course, the more you string together, the less likely you are to win because all of the picks have to hit in order for you to win.

A 5-way parlay of the picks I listed above would pay out $200 on a $10 bet:

Of course, hitting all 5 of these bets isn’t easy, so if you want to play it safer, you can choose any 2 or 3 bets you like best and parlay them together! Get your bets in by tipoff time!
