France have just two months to prepare for the World Cup. Paul Pogba is out for five months, and ten players were absent from the previous squad. Karim Benzema is injured and there is no clear timeline on his return. N'Golo Kante is one of the few players that can play a key role for France. France have been without several key players in recent Nations League fixtures.
