Tim David has been called up by Australia for this year's Twenty20 World Cup on home soil. David played 14 Twenty 20 internationals for Singapore but is eligible to switch allegiance because he has Australian parents. Mitchell Swepson was dropped from the squad. Pat Cummins returns to lead the 15-man squad after being rested for the current ODI series against Zimbabwe and next week's against New Zealand. Cameron Green replaces all-rounder Adam Zampa in the team. The World cup will take place in India in mid-September. David Warner will be rested. Australia won the tournament last year.
