Six ways to boost your EuroMillions chances as jackpot hits €100 million

The EuroMillions jackpot is up to €100 million on Saturday night. The chances of winning the Euromillions are 1 in 139,838,160. Richard Lustig, a seven-time U.S. Lotto winner, shares his tips on how to increase your chances.

Lustig explains how to pick the group of numbers that you feel most comfortable with. He advises to go with your gut and not overthink it.

Use as much of the board as possible. Lotto mastermind Lustig recommends playing numbers 1-31. If you spread the numbers out across the whole track, you'll either be the only winner or split the prize with only one or two people.

Lustig advises against buying a 'quick pick' ticket. He explains that every time you buy a quick pick ticket you get a different set of numbers.

Get a group together for a lottery syndicate. Forming a syndicates gives you more tickets and lottery numbers. Playing the least popular lottery games with fewer players increases your odds of winning.

Don't spend more than you can afford on lottery tickets. If you only want to buy one ticket, stick with it. If it's 10 dollars, you should buy 10 tickets, but it doesn't have to be 100.
