Southampton defeats Man City to make it up to League Cup semi-final round

Manchester City FC lost to Southampton in the English Football League Cup quarterfinal round on Wednesday. Southampton won the match 2-0. Manchester City has a derby with Manchester United this Saturday. Nottingham Forest FC tied with Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. in Carabao Cup in quarterfinals but won by four to three on penalties. Mislav Oršić made his debut for Southampton. He moved from Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia to the EPL last Saturday and played for Ulsan Hyundai FC and Jeonnam Dragons. Hwang Hee-chan started the game to play for 80 minutes but recorded no offensive points.
