Southwest Missouri Week 6 high school football predictions

Last week was my best week of the season. I was 24-3 (88.9%) last week. This season I'm 110-29 (79.1%) this season and 46-8 (85.2%) over the last two weeks.

West Plains is coming off its first loss of the season. Kickapoo is a two-loss team that is going to need to set itself up well in a difficult Class 6 district. The Chiefs have held opponents to eight points in the last two weeks. West Plains' offense has been contained a few times this year.

Glendale is trying to stay alive in the Ozark Conference race. Undefeated Lebanon is getting closer to setting up a conference championship showdown with Camdenton. Lebanon has been dominant with Cade Muscia leading the way. The Yellowjackets have won each game by at least three touchdowns.

Republic will beat Joplin in the Ozarks this week. Republic has a lot of playmakers on the field but Jopslin has trouble stopping the run. Jpplin's quarterback has good skill players. The Tigers have a few running backs that can go off any week, but Republic's committee approach will be better.

Seneca and Reeds Spring are playing a cross-conference showdown. Seneca has had its dominance while Reed Spring has been dominant. Seneca has the advantage because it's played well in its biggest games against the best of opponents. Reeeds Spring's wins have come against teams with records below .500.

Parkview is coming off a 55-20 win at Hillcrest. Rolla is having an up-and-down year.

Hillcrest and Waynesville are playing in the Southwest Missouri High School Football Conference.

Mount Vernon will beat Catholic 32-12 in the week 6 high school football game.

Lighthouse is going to play Central in the Week 6 high school football game. Central is capable of winning the rest of its games on its schedule.

Nixa will beat Carl Junction 52 to 24 in high school football.

Ozark and Carthage are playing in the Week 6 high school football game. Carthages defense held Neosho to seven points last week.

Fair Grove and Strafford need to win to tie for the league title. Fair Grove's offense is putting up big points. Straford's has had its struggles.

Logan-Rogersville is the best defense in the area this year. They're allowing just 15.8 points per game and haven't allowed more than 22 in a single game. Logan- Rogersvile will win 28-10.

Marshfield will need to come out on top to stay alive in the Big 8 East.

Branson lost to Carthage last week. Neosho beat Branson 38-31.

Sarcoxie is 5-0 and Miller is 13-1. Sarcoxies play Marionville next week.

Cassville is looking to rebound against an elite Tigers squad. Nevada needs to win to have a shot at the Big 8 East.

Mountain Grove and Liberty are playing each other. Liberty has been overwhelming lately.

Bolivar is on a mission and is in a great position going into the Ozark Conference clash with Lebanon. Camdenton has yet to allow more than 21 points this year. Bolivars will lose to Cam denton by 10 points.

Pierce City is playing well this season. Marionville is a better team than Pierce City.

Skyline and Clever are playing high school football this week. Skyline is a young team, but has shown the capability to score.

Lamar is favored to win against McDonald County.

Diamond is 0-3 against teams with winning records.

Butler is a team that is scoring a lot of points and giving up a ton of defense. Buffalo is giving a little bit of both. Butler wins 38-34.

Salem has yet to score more than seven points in a game this season. Willow Springs will score 27 points this week.

Monett has found more of an offense in the last two weeks. East Newton has scored 13 points over the past four weeks combined. Monett will win 28-14.

Houston is the favorite to beat Ava in the high school football game.
