While sports betting in North Carolina won’t go live until noon ET on March 11, bettors in the Tar Heel State can sign up for licensed sportsbooks in the state starting on March 1. 

As part of that process, FanDuel Sportsbook is offering a special sign-up offer for new bettors.

Online sports betting has been legal since June 2023, but implementing the law has led to a nine-month delay in the launch of mobile sports betting.

FanDuel North Carolina Pre-Launch Bonus 

FanDuel Sportsbook prior to sports betting going live in North Carolina can receive up to $300 in bonus bets. 

You must register through a FanDuel link or using the banner on this page. No promo code is required.

The bonus bets will be given out at two different times. New users who sign up in the pre-launch window from 12 a.m. ET on March 1 to 11:59 a.m. ET on March 11 will receive $100 in bonus bets just for joining. 

From there, they’ll also receive $200 in bonus bets after they place a $5 real-money wager once FanDuel goes live. 

This offer is only available to new users who have never signed up with FanDuel Sportsbook before. Bettors located in North Carolina who have previously used FanDuel in another state are ineligible for the promotion.

This offer is available to users who sign up using FanDuel’s website or mobile app. You must be at least 21 years old and physically present in North Carolina to qualify for this promotion.

How To Claim FanDuel North Carolina Promo

To claim FanDuel’s new user offer in North Carolina:

  • Register using your personal information and verify that you’re in North Carolina. 
  • Once you’re registered, you’ll receive a pop-up letting you know that your $100 bonus bets will be in your account once sports betting goes live in North Carolina on March 11.  
  • To receive the additional $200 in bonus bets, deposit at least $5 in your account when FanDuel launches on March 11. 
  • Place a $5 real-money wager on anything at FanDuel Sportsbook. 
  • Once your bet is submitted, you’ll get $200 in additional bonus bets added to your account.
