Spurs sign veteran forward Stanley Johnson to one-year deal

Stanley Johnson has been waived by the Utah Jazz in October. He was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in August. The forward averaged 6.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1. 7 assists per game last season with the Lakers. In the 2017-18 season, Johnson averaged 8.8 points per games in 69 appearances with Detroit Pistons.

Spurs sign seven-year veteran wing Stanley Johnson to a one- year contract. Johnson was traded from the Pistons to the Pelicans during the 2018-19 season. New Orleans declined to extend a $4.5 million qualifying offer to Johnson, making him a free agent.
