St. Louis Blues’ Must Watch Games in October 2022

The St. Louis Blues will begin their season in October. They will play several divisional opponents and teams expected to compete for the best odds in the 2023 Draft lottery. The schedule is dynamic with the league calendar being fully back to normal post-pandemic.

The season opener is on October 15th. Johnny Gaudreau signed a seven-year deal with the Blue Jackets worth $9.75 million. The Blue Jacket's young players will make the opening-night lineup. The Blues will have to guard against high-danger chances. They will be able to create a lot of them with firepower throughout their top-nine forwards.

The St. Louis Blues will play the Edmonton Oilers twice in October 2022. The games will be played in Edmonton and in St Louis. Last season the Blues went 1-1-0 against the Oilers, with two of the games being played at the Enterprise Center. The Oilers have a new goaltender, Jack Campbell, and they reached the Western Conference Final last season.

St. Louis Blues and Nashville Predators are going to play each other in October 2022. The Blues won three of the four games against the Preds last season. Nashville brought back Filip Forsberg and traded for Ryan McDonagh. Nashville will need to rely heavily on Juuse Saros in net and their scoring upfront.

St. Louis Blues play at Seattle Kraken on Wednesday, October 19th at 9 PM. They play Winnipeg Jets on Monday, Oct. 24th and Montreal Canadiens on Saturday, 29th October at 6 PM and Monday October 31st at 7 PM against Los Angeles Kings. The other games are against teams without high expectations.
