Stakes record set in $416,200 Valley Victory
Volume Eight won the $416,200 Valley Victory Trot at the Meadowlands on Saturday. The 2-year-old won with a stakes-record time of 1:52.2. Kimmeridgian finished second, Up Your Deo third, Kilmister fourth, and Upstaged fifth. Celebrity Bambino finished third. It was the second time in three weeks that the horse broke stride.
Volume Eight returned $3.20 to win. Volume Eight has won seven times in nine starts this year.
