Standard Liege to poach Anderlecht's Ghanaian teenager in the summer

Belgian Jupiler Pro League side Standard Liège are set to poach Belgium-born Ghanaian teenager Enock Agyei from RSC Anderlecht, with the 18-year-old youngster's current deal set to come to a close next season.

The 'Purple and White' are facing crisis over a massive player exodus, with promising teenager Julien Duranville, set to leave this winter to link up with Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund this January.

According to a publication by Walfoot, RSC Anderlecht could also lose the talented Ghanaian teenager to their league rivals following their determination to include him in their squad ranks for the next football campaign.

The report added that, Standard Liege are also looking forward to signing Enock's twin brother, Ebenezer Agyei, who announced his departure from his boyhood club earlier this month.

The Stade Maurice Dufrasne Stadium outfit could face stiff competition from English Championship side, Burnley FC over the race to sign the 18-year-old in the next transfer window.

Enock has this term featured in 16 league games, scoring 3 and assisting 1 for RSCA Futures in the Challenger Pro League 22/23 football season.

Having been born and raised in Belgium, both Enock and Ebenezer are still eligible to represent Ghana at the international level as both are yet to be capped by the Belgium senior national team.
