Stanford opens season with Monday morning tip vs Pacific

Stanford's 2022-23 season begins at 11 a.m. PT on Monday with a Pac-12 Network broadcast. The game is against Northern California non-conference opponent Pacific.

Stanford will have four new players make their Cardinal debut on Monday. The group is led by graduate transfer Michael Jones. Ryan Agarwal and Jaylen Thompson are Top 150 recruits. Benny Gealer is a freshman walk-on from Rolling Hills Prep.

Stanford returns O’Connell, Spencer Jones, Ingram and Keefe to their starting roles from a season ago. Jaiden Delaire, Maxime Raynaud, Isa Silva, and Brandon Angel are among the first options off the bench again this year. Stanford opens season with Monday morning tip vs Pacific.

Stanford holds a 33-3 all-time series record against Pacific. The Tigers finished 8th in the WCC last season. Head coach Leonard Perry is in his second head coaching stint. He previously went 49-87 over five years at Idaho from 2001-05. Pacific welcomes six D-I transfers to the roster this year.  Luke Avdalovic is the leading returning scorer at 10 points per game last year, while Nick Blake scored 8.8 points.
