Steelers vs. Browns line, odds and predictions: Our experts like Cleveland to beat Pittsburgh

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns both rely on their defenses, and both have question marks at quarterback this year. In this rematch of a Week 2 matchup, the Browns enter as slight favorites at home despite Deshaun Watson being out for the year with a shoulder injury. Rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson will start for Cleveland at quarterback.

Pittsburgh-Cleveland is set for 1 p.m. ET at Cleveland Browns Stadium. The game will air on CBS.

The AFC North is the gift that keeps on giving. As we head into Week 11, each of this division’s four teams have winning records, and three would be in the playoffs if the regular season ended today. Smack in the middle of the AFC North standings are the Browns and Steelers, who continue to find ways to win games week in and week out.

All six Steelers wins this season have been by one score and all three losses have been by double-digits. Pittsburgh is bottom five in the NFL in yards allowed per game, but only allows 20.2 points per game. Is that sustainable or a bend-but-don’t-break defense executed to perfection?

Cleveland’s defense is nearly flawless. Their front, led by Myles Garrett, presents nightmare matchups for almost every opposing offense it faces, while a Denzel Ward-led secondary is similar amounts of scary. Together, the two pair to create debatably one of the top three defenses in the league. Cleveland is allowing 242.7 yards per game, the lowest mark in the league.

But when the team’s met in Week 2, Pittsburgh’s defense stole the show with a game-winning fumble recovery for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.

While both defenses have stood out, quarterback play has been less than stellar. Kenny Pickett hasn’t thrown for 200 yards in his last three games for the Steelers.

Both teams are 6-3 overall and against the spread.
