Troy’s clash with JMU should be one of the most entertaining matchups with a Sun Belt team during Week 3’s slate of college football games.

Here’s a look at other Sun Belt games and the odds for those contests.

JMU-Troy Betting Odds This Week

For JMU vs. Troy in Week 3, I predict Troy will cover the spread at -3.

JMU just beat Virginia last week in an exciting and emotional contest. The Dukes also appear to have their quarterback situation figured out with Jordan McCloud throwing for 224 yards and a touchdown a week ago.

Meanwhile, Troy just lost to Kansas State 42-13 last week. But I think the Trojans will be desperate to bounce back with a victory and have the talent to do so. They’ll show why many viewed them as one of the top Group of Five teams.

Prediction: Troy -3

For Georgia State vs. Charlotte in Week 3, I predict Georgia State will cover the spread at -7.5.

Georgia State is 2-0 so far this season, and the Panthers looked like a complete team in their 35-14 win over UConn. Darren Grainger also showed why he’s one of the top Sun Belt quarterbacks by passing for 144 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 142 yards and another score.

Charlotte, meanwhile, is going to struggle this year with the talent on that roster. I think Georgia State can win by more than a touchdown on the road.

Prediction: Georgia State -7.5

South Alabama vs. Oklahoma State Prediction: Over/Under Total Points

For South Alabama vs. Oklahoma State in Week 3, I predict the two teams will go Over 48.5 total points.

After a disappointing loss to Tulane to open the season, South Alabama had a chance to correct things and won 35-17 over Southeastern Louisiana a week ago.

Oklahoma State, meanwhile, has played Central Arkansas and Arizona State and didn’t manage to beat either of those teams by more than 14 points. I think the Cowboys could win, but this game will be close enough for them to keep their offensive starters in the whole game. And South Alabama should be capable of scoring some points with quarterback Carter Bradley leading the way.
