Super Rugby Pacific: Crusaders and All Blacks prop Joe Moody ruled out for rest of 2022

Joe Moody ruptured his ACL playing against the Blues two weeks ago and will need surgery. He will be out of action for the rest of the year. It's yet another blow for Moody, who suffered plantar fasciitis in his left foot last April. The 33-year-old prop is turning 34 in September. Crusaders coach Scott Robertson is optimistic about his player's recovery. The Rugby World Cup is next year and Robertson backs his prop to get fit. There is no one like Joe Moody pushing the scrum forward. George Bower will play in the absence of him. "There is nobody like him pushing that scrums forward," says Robertson.
