Super Rugby Pacific: Wallabies ‘pretty filthy’ about scrum clock idea

There are changes afoot in Super Rugby Pacific. Representatives from the teams met to discuss the future of the competition. Scrum clock is one of them. It is favoured within Rugby Australia, but not supported by the players. Andrew Kellaway is against it.

Wallabies coach Kellaway is not happy about the scrum clock idea. Allan Alaalatoa is more circumspect about it.   The breakdown is another area where the Wallabies can improve.

Alaalatoa believes there could be positives for Super Rugby in the move but safety of the props and hookers must be paramount. He wants to implement scrum clock first at training and then practice it for a year.
