Survey results, record predictions: How FSU fans feel after 6-3 start

SB Nation Reacts asked questions of fans across the NCAA to gauge their expectations and optimism about the Florida State Seminoles football team. The team is currently 6-3, 4-2 in the ACC and has three games left.

There is a split between somewhat and extremely confident in the direction of Florida State under Mike Norvell. The percentage of people who are unsure has dwindled since the last survey.

Norvell has turned around the team he inherited. He has a decent staff around him, but there is some room for improvement with some position coaches. OrgaNole is more confident after seeing Mike yelling “MAKE THEM QUIT” during half time against Miami.

After beating Miami, Florida State fans are confident about their team's trajectory. Up next for Florida is a road game against Syracuse Orange (6-2, 3-1 ACC). The team has games against Louisiana (4-5, 2-4 Sun Belt), Florida (5- 4,2 SEC) and Louisiana again left on the schedule.

Robert Kerr and Coleman are optimistic about their team's chances. Noleman is more focused on going 7-3.

The survey asks you how you feel about the team's start.

The benchmark for passing yards before the season started was 2000. FSU is 6-3 and Jordan Travis is the starting quarterback.

JT needs 315 yards against UF to break 3000 yards. If JT continues to pass for his per-game average, he'll have 3,012 yards before bowling.

He has a chance to exceed the original over/under by 1000 yards.

71 percent of you said Travis will pass the 2000-yard mark in 2022. Travis upped his production from 1056 to 1539 yards from 2020 to 2021. Mike Norvell's offenses at Memphis put up prolific numbers through the air.

FSU is 6-3 and ranked No. 22 in the College Football Playoff rankings. Florida State is one of four teams averaging at least 270 yards of passing offense and at at minimum 210 yards rushing offense per game this season. The Seminoles are also first in ACC and fifth in country in pass defense. FSU leads the nation with 15 touchdown drives of 80+ yards and with seven 90+-yard touchdown drive this year.
