Lexington, Kentucky…August 12, 2023…Hambletonian winner Tactical Approach (Tactical Landing) takes center stage as the The Red Mile summer harness racing championship meeting moves into its fourth week with a Sunday-Monday-Tuesday (Aug. 13-15) schedule.

Tactical Approach will be in action on Tuesday in the second leg of the $80,000 Kentucky Sire Stakes Championship Series for three-year-old trotting colts and geldings and has drawn the inside one post.

Trained by Nancy Takter for owners Robert Leblanc, John Fielding, Joe Sirocco and JAF Racing, Scott Zeron will, once again, be in the sulky.

Also, in the event is Point Of Perfect (Walner), a Hambletonian Elimination winner and fifth in the final. Yannick Gingras will handle the lines for trainer Ron Burke and his Burke Racing Stable, Hatfield Stables, Knox Services and Jerry and Theresa Silva.

The nine-horse field also includes Brodeur (Tactical Landing) and Ari Ferrari J (Walner), both with strong credentials coming into the action.

The week will feature 30 Kentucky Stakes, highlighted by six $80,000 Sire Stakes Championship events for two and three-year-olds.

On Sunday, the 15-race program includes the second leg of the Kentucky Sires Stakes Championship Series with two-year-old pacing fillies and three-year-old trotting fillies in the summer sunlight followed by two-year-old trotting fillies, and three-year-old pacing colts and geldings on Monday’s 16 race program.
