Te Maire Martin channelling 2017 Cowboys as Broncos seek miracle
Brisbane Broncos are ninth on the NRL ladder on 28 competition points. They need to beat St George Illawarra in Sydney on Saturday night and hope Wests Tigers beat Canberra on Sunday to play finals football. Te Maire Martin was in the Cowboys team that lost to the Broncos in 2017. The Cowboys won the title on a dramatic upset against St. George Illawarras. Martin returned to rugby league this season after a bleed-on-the-brain injury. He played a whole season with Wynnum in Queensland Cup. He will join the New Zealand Warriors next year.
