Team Penske Make Appeal Decision for No. 12 Suspensions

Team Penske will appeal the decision to suspend Jonathan Hassler, Zachary Price, and Graham Stoddard for four races. The team will be on hand for the trip to Texas Motor Speedway. Ryan Blaney’s No. 12 lost the left-rear wheel during a pit stop on Lap 93.

Team Penske is appealing the four-race suspension for Ryan Blaney. The team believes it has a legitimate chance to win the opening race at Texas Motor Speedway. Blane won the All-Star Race in May. If the appeal fails, the team will have its best team around for the trip to Texas. If it does not, Blanes could get caught up in a wreck.

Blaney has solid odds to win at Texas Motor Speedway. He is seventh overall among Cup Series drivers. Denny Hamlin tops the list at 6-1, while Kyle Larson is at 7- 1. Chase Elliott, Christopher Bell, Ross Chastain, and Kyle Busch are ahead of him at 9-2.
